Burnout Paradise

Today was the launch of the newest Burnout game, avalible on PS3 and XB360.

I myself am not a big fan of driving games, especially realistic ones, unless I can some how shoot my opponents.

However, after playing the demo, I came to like this game. Mainly because, it isnt a realistic driving game, and you can just do what you want with this one. I love the free roaming aspect of the game, coupled with the extras of smashing cars, gates, billboards, and other objects.

...anyway bit late, I'll finish this later...

...back again.

I had a taster of the online aspect of Paradise, which starts out as "Freeburn" basically you just cruise around the city doing what you want as usual. Just, another player may drive over and give you a nudge.

When ever you takeout out an opponent online, whether its during freeburn or a race, provided they have a camera (PS3 - Playstation EyE, 360 - Live Vision) you get a mugshot of that person to keep. So if they take you out, they get one of you. With that said, there are a couple of people, german I think, that have a lovly picture of me pulling a face.

During the freeburn at anypoint, the Host, can start a race. Now the thing I did not like when I playing was the fact that the Host chose everyones cars, which to me sucked. Now he did make it fair and make everyone drive the same car, but personally I hated em =/.

Even though I did not enjoy my car being picked for me, I still enjoyed the over all aspect of the online play. So be carefull, you may see me speeding your way.

I bought a Live Vision camera just for this game. Getting a mugshot of someone you've just taken down is fuggin hilarious :D
